Alright guys, I'm giving away a brand new iPod to one lucky Facebook follower!

I've created a new Facebook page, and while it is still a work in progress to be completed with my site redesign, I want you guys to have the first opportunity to "like" it. Some other exciting news!

Some of you may notice that the "Google Friends Connect" (followers) widget has disappeared from my sidebar and instead replaced by a Facebook badge. The reason for this, is that I've decided to go pro.

With travel blogging that is.

This means a new, self-hosted website, and in addition to my travel blog, there will be a section for guides, an e-book in the near future, and much, much more!

While many great things will come of this, unfortunately it means the end of my GFC. If you currently subscribe to my blog by feed or e-mail (as 250+ of you already do), nothing will be changed as my url (confessedtravelholic.com) will stay the same.

For those who follow through GFC however, it means that you will no longer receive any of my new posts once my site goes live. Therefore, I highly encourage all of you to subscribe to my blog via my feeds, e-mail, or Facebook.

How to: Sydney, Australia on $25 a day

Sydney, Australia. A world class city that's home to some of the best beaches in the world, not to mention the Opera House and Nicole Kidman. It's also the first stop for many backpackers to Australia, and sometimes the only stop, for those lured into everything this city has to offer.

Sydney, while renowned for its greatness, it's also notoriously known for being extremely expensive. Therefore, I decided to choose Sydney to be the first city for my "25 Cities for $25" challenge, where I'll provide an itinerary for a city that includes sights, food, nightlife, and accommodations while keeping a total daily budget of...$25.

To put that into perspective, $25 CAD is roughly 18 euros, 16 pounds, 178 SAR, 196 HKD, or 25 USD/AUD. Impossible? Check it out for yourself!
